As a Business Strategist / Business Development Manager for Edge FM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business strategy, identifying new opportunities, and strengthening our position in the facilities management industry. You will analyze market trends, develop business models, and lead initiatives to enhance service delivery through technology and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute business growth strategies for the facilities management sector.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify expansion opportunities.
• Design and implement business development models, including partnerships, client acquisition, and revenue streams.
• Lead IT/Tech-driven projects to improve facility management solutions (e.g., IoT, smart buildings, and automation).
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and tech teams to align strategies with company goals.
• Prepare business cases, financial models, and feasibility studies for new services or markets.
• Engage with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners to foster long-term relationships.
• Client retention and relation.
• Lead generation and client acquisition.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in facilities management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in business strategy, business development, preferably in facilities management, real estate, or tech-driven service industries.
• Strong expertise in business analysis, financial modeling, and critical thinking.
• Experience in IT/Tech projects (e.g., digital transformation, SaaS, IoT for facilities management).
• Proven track record in contract negotiations, client acquisition, and partnership development.
• Knowledge of facility management operations, sustainability practices, and industry best practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
