As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including maintenance, security, space planning, and vendor management. You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implement sustainability initiatives, and enhance the overall workplace experience for employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and utilities management.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
Manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality services.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards).
Lead space planning and workplace optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Monitor and control facility budgets, expenses, and financial reporting.
Coordinate emergency preparedness and disaster recovery plans.
Implement sustainability and energy-saving initiatives (e.g., waste reduction, green building practices).
Supervise and train facility staff and contractors.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to support workplace technology and infrastructure needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in facility management, property management, or operations, preferably in [industry-specific, e.g., corporate, healthcare, or industrial facilities].
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and maintenance best practices.
Familiarity with facility management software (e.g., CAFM, CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certification in Facility Management (e.g., CFM, FMP) or Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is a plus.
Excellent project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in smart building technologies (IoT, BMS).
Background in sustainability or LEED certification projects.
Knowledge of real estate and workplace strategy.
